What is lifestyle photography?
a genre of photography that aims to capture portraits of people in situations, real-life events, or milestones in an artistic manner and the art of every day life. The primary goal is to tell stories about people's lives or to inspire people in different seasons of life.
What should we wear?
I'll share some simple-trusted answers in your SESSION GUIDE.
Color is important, but so is your comfort, and having room for movement and play.
How many photos will we receive?
I've never put a limit to the number of photos I deliver. I get home, back photos up, and begin the editing process where I pick those to edit based on my artistic vision. Your final gallery will include a variety of B&W, color, varying crops, etc. It may also depend on how much movement and emotion there is to document.
How do milestone sessions work?
Milestone sessions are customizable! As a second-time mom, I knew how fast that first year goes, and I felt the need to slow down and appreciate it to my bones. So, I get it.
It's up to you what'd you'd like documented. Most families book 2-4 sessions, including maternity, newborn, first birthday, and sweet family traditions in-between.
When is the best time for maternity photos?
I'd recommend planning your maternity session between 30-35 weeks. Contacting me weeks before for availability.
When is the best time for newborn photos?
I recommend newborn photos about four weeks after you bring babe home. Hear me out though, schedule your session in plenty of time before your due date! No one wants to spend their precious postpartum time trying to find a photographer.
Where is our session location?
At this time, I am only reviewing inquiries for at-home sessions (or select experience locations).
Do you offer mini sessions?
The short answer is yes; seasonally I schedule half sessions. Contact me if interested in dates.
I submitted an inquiry form - now what?
I cannot wait to get to know each other! My standard reply time is 1-3 days. While I invest my heart and soul into my clients, I'm still a human, mother, and so many other things, with set working hours.
